If you have private medical insurance, you may be covered for osteopathic treatment, but you must always check your insurer policy first.
Private Medical Insurance
Whether you've been hurt in an accident, injured your back, suffered whiplash injury resulting in neck pain or something else, we can provide osteopathic treatment for you regardless if your claim is settled or not. Many private health insurance policies provide cover for osteopathy, and therefore it may be possible for you to claim for a course of treatment but you should check in advance with your insurance company before seeking osteopathic treatment, in order to confirm the available level of cover and whether you will need to have a referral from your GP or a specialist.
If you are paying privately, you do not need a referral - however, if you are planning to claim on your insurance, some companies will only cover the cost of treatment if you are referred to us by a GP or specialist.

Please note that due to the additional administration and hold on payments linked to private insurance claims, your appointments will be charged at full value. You will also be charged personally for any treatment performed that your insurance company fails to cover. For this reason, please be absolutely sure how many treatments and to what value you are covered for before visiting us.
We are more than happy to provide you with a receipt for our services for submission to your private insurer.
